Rebranding Sweet Grass Dairy for a National Debut in Whole Foods

With a national debut in Whole Foods on the horizon, Independent cheese makers Sweet Grass Dairy faced a key moment of rapid expansion for their brand. Though the quality and taste of their product would speak for itself, their visual identity called for an evolution that would propel Sweet Grass Dairy forward with a brand new look and feel.

The challenge? Not losing their soul along the way.

Though this branding exercise would touch every edge of their visual identity, we wanted to take care not to alter the brand’s DNA. With the ethos of ‘Hand Crafted In The American South’ at the core of their story, this brand evolution needed to walk the line of heritage and modernity without alienating their core fans.
